Dear diary, It was hard to admit it but - Gemikai is strangely loving his new job. Or at least this most recent case Gemikai was assigned to tonight. Gemikai was assigned a secret mission to double agent a heist. The physical profile of our favorite human demon somehow got him involved in secret thief underground. The mission was to stop their plans from the inside. The scene starts with Gemikai getting dressed in his living quarters. The time is a little bit beyond midnight - it was prime time and day for the operation to come to a head. Fashion choice for mission was black out long sleeve gear. Clothes if anything - nothing durable. Thermal shirt with cargo pants was a good look. And yes, Gemikai looked at himself in the mirror with positive feedback. Undercover missions were more fun than serious. Grabbing the phone - Gemikai reviewed the data from his mission one last time before he'd head out. According to the report, Gemikai is tasked with infiltrating a small crew of thieves who are stronger than the average fighter. Gemikai took on the role of an ex enforcer named Vento. This Vento as been able to convince all three targets he's capable and trustworthy - which gets him involved in their plans. Learned the players. It was supposed to be a longer operation but the crew took a fast liking to Vento, and were desperate to pull of a plot of theirs. An invitation to a bank heist. Cops can't stop them - all three members of this crew can use ki blast. Gemikai didn't think they were stronger than him, but enough to give regular humans a big issue. The crew leader ryu was practically begging Vento to come help them with a quick snatch and grab. Vento agreed, and Gemikai has been working with USD to apprehend the perpetrators.



Now that the bank heist is amount him, the hybrid will decide how to handle it. After naturally drinking more of those pre workout drinks the kid has been feeling better than ever! With no more time to spare - Gemikai took off in the direction of the agreed meeting spot. The air fly gave the agent time to recalibrate his voice to prepare the crew he's still mysterious and a very bad boy. Not that he was a goodie two shoes - Gemikai just believes in justice. Arriving to a small town confirmed the patterns investigated by the national police. This crew targets villages and towns that have no protection against their assault. More traditional or old school towns. It made Gemikai all the more motivated to knock this crew down. Moments later he was descending to land - Gemikai had arrived a few buildings away from the building. Ki Suppression was activated to create a little more time to assess the mission route. First step was locating the team and playing along with their moves to pretend to rob the bank. That was the play. Plans changed. An explosion went off! It was definitely an energy blast - coming from the direction of the bank. Gemikai turned in curiosity towards the action as three more explosions claimed the streets - blasting all kinds of things in the air. The hybrid braced himself for a moment to prepare himself for spontaneous battle, but the battle never came his way. Combat was being engaged but not with him.


This wasn't the plan.



Gemikai made a quick few hops across the buildings in secret - trying not to use ki to alert them of his presence - should the crew be able to sense his ki. In the shadows, the camera can see three thieves in the middle of the street fighting amongst the treasure. Kicks, punches, and very weak ki blast - Gemikai really was watching it. The money bags were already stolen. In a funny way Gemikai was chuckling with sadness - betrayed. Not like he was doing it to them or anything - meanwhile Gemikai continued to watch their blood match as someone gets slammed against a car. No finishing blows yet. Gemikai was starting to understand the pieces of the puzzle. Vento was invited but not everyone in the crew was okay with it. Somehow Vento was given a false time or they spontaneously decided to go earlier to cut Vento out last minute. Someone or someones were trying to do something different - and all hell broke loose. Gemikai was getting smarter. Only reason Gemikai hasn't blown his stealth and stopped it was because an agent has to be sure. And, no one was around the street to get hurt. It wasn't the kind of town to have people outside super late - almost a ghost town. Agent Gemi would then make the text to his superiors to move in on his location. Once that was done it was now officially time to take out the trash. Phone back in the pocket, starting to release some ki, standing up straight, and Gemikai jumps off the building and into the street of the fight.


Timing was beyond perfect - Ryu had just defeated both the other thieves in combat. It took a few minutes but those were impactful few minutes. Bad luck for Ryu though - because Gemikai happened to have landed right in front of the bags of money. Gemikai had finally released all his power, at least the power he could with them heavy weights of course. The eye contact was instant - the sensation of life or death. Ryu didn't want anyone to get a piece of that money. Gemikai didn't even need to tell him it was a double cross - because if Gemikai's life went the opposite direction and in an alternate universe was a villain - fighting him would still happen. Probably just like this. Gemikai didn't get a chance to speak or confirm if the other two who fallen in battle were dead. Immediately the hybrid had to defend himself from two red destructive ki blast. Gemikai didn't need to think as his arms moved quickly to generate energy creating an energy defense. This surprised Ryu. The energy blasts had no effect. The smoke cleared with agent Gemi in good form - barrier still active. Ryu changed his tactics to attempting to move in an around fashion to get around the energy barrier. The agent started side stepping in response to this new tactic, and gracefully blocking the energy blast being hurled at him. It caused a bit more smoke - almost to give an illusion of blocking vision sensory. Ryu literally and physically jumped at the chance to strike - believing the shields had lowered. This was a close critical moment because Gemikai did for that split second released the defense technique. Gemikai was very open. But not to defeat. Gemikai thanked his superior reflexes and battle instincts.



Gemikai only showed surprise for a second before physically moving himself for a fastly prepared charged attack. This was a clash of fist. It felt like no sounds were allowed for a fast two seconds before an even bigger explosion erupted from their fist. As their energy clashed, Gemikai realized he was much stronger than the individual he was facing - and the USD was closing in around them and the fight. It took one extra burst of energy and Gemikai's straight completely overpowered Ryu and sent him drilled into a stonewall. This ended the fight, the heist, and the mission. The USD agents popped out the cars when the fight was over to finally do their jobs. Gemikai stood in wait to make sure the crew didn't try anything. Ryu had the craziest look in his face as the other agents took him away. It was one of the few criminals Gemikai knew was destined for greater evils. But it was okay - that's why fate created people like Gemikai. A mission well done.
